Exploring: Page, AZ

Dear God, Turn my anxieties into prayers for presence, whispers of need, reliance on and knowledge of your provision. Let my energy shift from self-involved anxiety to a loving, giving spirit towards others. Show me how to put others’ needs before my own. Help me release my grip of pressure on my time and acknowledge the gift of the presence of the person before me. My intuition of efficiency and self-preservation too often win. Help me. In this isolation, this limited number of people before me yet intense in the way they are before me, show me the necessary micro-movements, micro-efforts to be wholly present and attentive to the needs that surround me. Let me find the joy and see the beauty, just as I would a mind-blowing land formation standing tall and unique in my view.

Shown here: Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Toadstool Hoodoos

Next time: The Wave Trail, Kanab Sand Caves
